This Series consists of 11 SPORT and 11 EXPERT level races including the well established favourites like the WAR Series,  Achill ROAR, and Gaelforce so MonsterMAC is in good company again in 2012.

Another well organised event is to be expected and enjoyed with a field of up to 200 anticipated in each race, the MonsterMAC 2012 will give great "Point Bagging" opportunities for Series regulars.

Monster MAc

Join Ireland's unique adventure race. With a varied mix of challenging on road biking, off road running and a short kayak section, it is set to get the hearts racing on either the 64km MonsterMAC EXPERT category, the somewhat shorter 33km BigMAC SPORT category or the 20km "BabyMAC" event which is achievable by anyone looking for their first ever adventure challenge.

The route follows parts of the scenic Cork/Kerry Duhallow Way, giving you the opportunity to be part of this fun, well designed, often challenging, sometimes gruelling, but never boring course.  The MonsterMAC EXPERT category incorporates a steep offroad run to a high point of 644m on the peak of Mushra More offering superb views of the surrounding countryside. With bike routes weaving along narrow country roads through some of Ireland's most unspoilt countryside, this challenge will start and finish at the foothills of Munster's Boggeragh Mountains in the unique Millstreet Country Park.

Dash or Dunk to  finish?  So will you opt to do the run dash to the finish line or maybe you will be one of the more adventurous who take the shortcut splash to the finish at the Crannog lake.................. all within this unique 500 acre parkland.
